Onitsuka Tiger By Asics Profile



In a shop in Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, I bought a sweatshirt from Onitsuka Tiger brand with a simple design that I liked. When I went to pay at the counter, I saw some cards with the picture of a tiger while emulating Godzilla attacks the city.



An octopus in the salad was the inspiration for 1949 Kihachiro Onitsuka improve the design of basketball shoes and create the brand and the sub-brand Asics Onitsuka Tiger. The suckers on the tentacles of the octopus that was eating was given the perfect formula to create a shoe with a full grip making them an essential luggage at the Olympic Games 1969 in Mexico. The brand Asics has evolved considerably since it was formed in 1949 and today its products are aimed mainly to athletes of different disciplines. Onitsuka Tiger by contrast, is aimed at a younger and more cosmopolitan, offering fashionable clothing for leisure and more casual shoes. As you can see, the current sub-brand campaigns are very colorful, modern and urban.
